The latest buzz....Burke, Howard and I made a quick recording of the Spanish love song Besame Mucho. I learned this when I played during the Spanish service at St. Andrew's oh so long ago. Poor House Road at the MS Blues Marathon

The latest buzz....Barry, Burke, Howard and Roger played 4 hours at the MS Blues Marathon. It was a lot of fun. Everyone was whipped. Already planning for the next adventure and next year.

Ain't No Tom in That

The latest buzz....Burke and I recorded a new song yesterday: "Ain't No Tom In That." Here is a fun music video to illustrate it.

The song was inspired by a dream Burke's mother shared with him at Thanksgiving that had he and his sister Serena rolling on the floor laughing! It's quite different from our usual style -- more "grunge" rock. Hope you enjoy it.

The New Vanity Is In!

The latest buzz....after removing the old vanity, I had Pulliam Cleaners....well.....take-care-of the site for me.  Not just cleaning, but sawing off the old, galvanized water supply lines that came out of the wall.  (There's not much a good Cleaner can't do.)

Now, we have a Barry-Special-Vanity, with a Barry-Special-Plumbing-Job.

The latest buzz....we removed the old vanity from one of the bathrooms. Time to do some cleanup.

The New Sink Arrived

The latest buzz....the sink arrived and I cut out the hole for it. The faucet should be here in a couple days, but the sink sure fits well.

More On The New Vanity

The latest buzz....Okay, I've added the box that will allow us to install a drop-in sink. I need to get the sink ordered and delivered now. In the meantime, I have some staining and polying to do. The hardest part so far is trying to pick out a faucet....too many choices.

Working On A New Vanity

The latest buzz....It's not really a vanity. It's supposed to ultimately look like a wash table converted into a vanity. Well, we'll see.

The picture of the back shows how most of it is put together, by drilling these neat pocket holes. Judi got me a Kreg jig for Christmas and I am finally putting it to good use.
